  • Just got a mini trouting in A's. I bought two febreze candles - they are in a huge basket with a huge sign saying £2.00. The basket was full of the Apple & Spice flavour. Paid, and checked receipt and was charged £3.98 for each.

Off I toddled to CS. Miserable trout told me it wasn't a miss-price, but out of the goodness of her heart, she'd honour it THIS TIME. And gave me £3.98 cash - which was just the overpayment. I stood my ground and said, I have been inconvenienced, ie have had to wait here in this long queue etc. I've been overcharged and had I not checked my receipt, I would not have been wiser. etc.

Anyway, she made me fill in this really long form and asked for my phone number and then finally gave me £2.00. I tried to argue that it was meant to be £2.00 for each candle that I should get onto a gift card, but she wasn't having it. My time was up on my car so I came home. Still got the two candles effectively for a quid each so not too bothered. But they don't half come out with some cow dung. Some of them.

The same idea might work for the cheese debi? Order today for collection tomorrow, £12 discount should still come off tomorrow's prices.
    What a fantastic idea Chrisv..:j:j

    9 x Cathedral City Mature Cheddar 550g @ £6.99 = £62.91 (takes you over the £60 mark).

Actual price to pay tomorrow = 9 x £3 = £27 less £12 voucher = £15 for 9 large 550g blocks of nice cheese. Works out at just over £3 per Kg!!

How on earth did your MSL app add that up to £11.13?

    Coke £1.98
    Jaffas £1.10
    Youngs Basa Fillet £1.99
    Carling Zest £4.50
French Fries £0.84 (although my MSL shows at £1.58 in A so you may have got a boost/glitch there. What did you pay?)
    = total MSL £10.41
