Did anyone get £10 voucher for East Coast Railways?

I went and bought the paper early on Sunday and put my voucher in before I had even read the paper ... got an email saying I wasn't one of the first 5,000 so didn't get it ;(
I wondered whether this is quite a clever marketing ploy on East Coast Railways part to raise their profile / get people signed up to their emails / research journeys which they then end up going on regardless of not getting the voucher.
