Sorry people if this has nothing to do with the thread just a question i really need to aske
Fatal Swan
you refered Togout just wondering whether Togouts clothing is genuine or fake, as i read a post where something was fake and also someone told me to be careful with site that dont respond back to emails or phone calls
On the link you said you contacted trading standards and consumer support or advice, where on trading standards website did you find there number, because i have a something to report and i wanted the number. if you could please send me the link for the number0 -
Hi,
The stuff I got from Togout was certainly genuine and all in the original boxes etc, but that was mostly from Hom and Puma bodywear, not the bigger 'designer' brands. I've got no reason to doubt that their other stuff is genuine too, other than reading the odd brief comment on an old thread.
Togout have replied to some of my emails, especially after I made it clear I was aware of my rights and their responsibilities, and after that they were quick to resolve my problems. The way they don't answer phones really does annoy me though...
I got in touch with Consumer Direct initially (08454 040506, but check here for regional numbers), and it was only later that Trading Standards contacted me so I don't have their details to hand. I'm sure Consumer Direct could help you with that though, they're pretty brilliant.0 -
Try the shops that belong to this site they have loads of offers on and sell all the chavy brands like bench and G-Star. 2 for ones and stuff like that so maybe you should check their stores out?
For timberland check out the outlet villages
Timberland is the new Burberry, ever since chavs took up the burberry cap, things went downhill for burberry, now the new thing to be wearing is Timberland who were considered a slightly more exclusive brand untill recintly not any more all my Timberland stuff has gone in the bin.
Your designer brands seem to be slightly different to what I would call designer brands.0 -
Lets sort out the brands difference thing
Prada, Boss, Versace ... etc are the expensive Designer Brands whereas Bench, Timberland, Ben Sherman ...etc are the affordable Designer Brands, which i was told by a Designer Outlet, as i asked why the prices of the Brands were so different Prada and them being in the hundreds and Bench and them in up to the hundreds
thanks for the link though
EDIT and again my size not available, hmm is really becoming a no win case0 -
lol, i just want to look good, Dress To Impress
Quite often wearing clothes with blatent 'designer' labels on them does the opposite of what you are after - if you have to shout out look at me I'm wearing XYZ then its not very classy or impressive. That is unless you're out to impress the kids sat outside MacDonalds in their Nova's with superglued on bodykits.
Not trying to offend, but a well put together wardrobe of plane cheaper clothes can look alot better than slightly pricier clothes with Timberland/YSL/Burberry etc splashed all across them.0
