Hi guys, ill be getting a 40" for the release of the Xbox One, I need a decent tv with little lag and im not too pleased with this 2 HDMI input rubbish so more the better.
I'm not looking to spend more than £600 on the TV.
No plasma or budget brands please.

How about an LG 42LN570V 42 Inch LED tv. On the game input, you need to change a setting called AV Mode to "Game" but should be perfectly fine for lag once done (this is done quickly via the remote).
Can be had for £450 from quite a number of places.0 -
I'd keep an eye on HotUkDeals, TVs regularly feature and why stop at 40" - for your budget you can get bigger.
This is trending ATM

Dont write off Plasma!0 -
Yeah, these days nothing wrong with plasma - dont be scared off by the tales of old with burn in etc, that was a long time ago.0

Shouldn't you be buying a 4K TV for the XBox One?!
There's a 39 inch (?) Panasonic in Currys for £400 which is very good (haven't researched lag on it at all though) but you can go bigger for £600. Often spending more on a screen the same size adds features, which adds lag, which you turn off anyway!0 -
Thanks guys, im trying to stick to 40" because its for my modest bedroom!
4k hmm, ill have a look into that but it doesnt really bother at this point in time, especially if its not going to be used for years to come.
Ive settled on this:

Try Richer Sounds if you have a store local. Really knowledgeable staff (probably the best on the high street for electrical goods). Great prices and will match any price including internet prices.0

John Lewis are good for 5 year warranty but the closest one is faaaar away. I was thinking of picking it up at PC world or Argos, 20 mins away, then i can do my shopping afterwards.0
