Not sure if this is the right place for this, but wanted to share my money saving idea!
All the freebies I am getting, I am going saving up for christmas and make my own crackers.
So far I have got nail varnish, lipstick, teabags, mouthwash, anti-wrinkle cream.............................
It will be fun deciding who gets what!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

I did that last year...and I think I enjoyed the whole process as much as the peeps did who got them.
Now...Christmas 95..who's gonna get the Lepicol and the Tena Lady!

What a brilliant idea! Might do that for "Christmas Tree" presents. Thanks.0

Another thought (now I've sobered up!)
I seem to be doing a fair bit of visiting people in hospital this year and I've started making up little collections of freebie toiletries, (shampoo/shower gel/bubble bath/mouthwash/creams for this that and the other/ladies 'things'!...etc.) All put in little gift bags (again freebies at some time). It solves the problem of what to take when hospital visiting and even better...FREE :j♥♥♥ Genius - 1% inspiration and 99% doing what your mother told you. ♥♥♥0 -
I do something similar - I put all the freebie toiletries into Christmas goody bags and supplement them with flannels or wipes, toothpaste & toothbrushes, combs, chocolate, chewing gum, mints etc and I take them down to the local shelter and the helpers distribute them.
We usually have enough for about 2 dozen bags, all for next to nothing.
The hardest part is getting the goody bags - last year Poundland didn't get any in and Lakeland sold out and the new stock was delivered after I'd dropped them off. Still, I got some in the sale after Christmas so I'll be alright for this year
