Facebook - no friends, is this an issue?

Hi all, first thanks for all the comps you post on here. Having good fun entering them - no wins yet but im still a believer!
I wanted to ask, as I created a new email account I also created a new facebook account as I don't want my friends being constantly bombarded with shares and posts.
Do you think it will be an issue entering competitions with no facebook friends on my account?
Also how do you check on twitter if you have one something? new to it so not sure how it works. Would a company message you direct or just tweet your name?
Thanks compers!
Edd

I'd be interested in responses to this, too, as I've done the same!0

In fact, how about we add eacy other - then at least we have one friend each.
And that goes for anyone else who has done the same. If we all add each other, we'd have friends and get around the issue (if it is an issue)...0 -
The issue is that FB rules say that you cannot have more than one account. People on here have lost both of them if they are reported to FB.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

There is a thread on here somewhere specifically to sign up comping friends, if you do a search.
A couple of tips - don't put MSE in your name, and try to use the account for other things as well as comping once in a while such as signing up to some groups and posting about other things.
If all you're doing is comping, liking and sharing, at some point facebook will notice and turf you off.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

hiya
i have no issues with giving prizes to winners with no friends, i think for most competitions its not even a consideration, the winner (unless its skilled based) is usually picked totally at random, for my competitions i run i have each entry assigned to a number, then use a random number generator
but it would never hurt to have a few friends, i think with all the compers here the best idea would be to befriend all your fellow compers accounts, means you have some friends, with the added benefit of seeing competitions you might have missed
hope that helps
