Hi
Apparently you need to pay £5 to your local authority to find a licensed premises for civil weddings, and many venues websites with search functions only list ones where the venue have paid to be put on there so they don't have complete listings.
However I found this a few months ago and it is the most complete venue search database I have found. Unfortunately some of the links are broken but a quick google once you have found a venue you are interested in soon sorts that out.
Hope it helps some people- even saves you a fiver.

Most councils will list their registered venues on their council websites under "register office", certainly Cheshire, Warrington, Lancashire & Blackpool do2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
