Ive changed the inner tubes twice on a childs bike, 20 inch tyres but within days they've gone down again. Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks

happened to me , was a thorn stuck in the tyre tread, found it by running my finger round the inside of the tyreEx forum ambassador

turn the tyre inside out and check for anything that might be in there0

Maybe a faulty inner tube. Take the inner tube out, pump up with air, & find the leak.
I had one where the rubber area around the valve hadnt bonded properly.
If you find theres a hole, then check the inside of the tyre in the corresdonding position.0 -

Very true, BUT be very careful, it could be a shard of glass or something much worse. Be safe....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

OP did you know Poundland do 20" tubes (though it's hit and miss they'll have that size stocked when you visit)0 -
It could be that the tyres themselves are worn, which is making them more susceptible to puncture when riding around. This happened on one of our MTB type adult bikes. They were worn and very malleable, which didn't afford the inner enough protection from the perils which exist in West LondonSo many glitches, so little time...0
