Switched to lower interest rate before completion

My wife gets very irritated with me because I spend a lot of time on the computer checking if the price/rate of something that we have just bought has gone up or down.
But today it was all worth it.
I recently received my offer for BTL mortgage from BM. It's awaiting completion as its linked to a property I am buying. I checked the rate today to find out that the rate for that LTV had dropped by 0.2%. I contacted my broker at L&C (thanks Rob) & he came back to me within 10 mins to confirm that BM will switch me over to the new product with a lower interest rate & lower arrangement fees without any charge !! They will send out the new offer in next 48 hrs to me & the conveyancer.
I like that
