Lending Money -
Hi
Is there any websites where you can download free legal forms? Save cost of going to a solicitor?
I am lending a friend some money to help him buy a house, but wish him to sign a pormissory note, where by upon demand he has to pay it back. I need this assurity as no one knows what will happen in the future. He is happy to sign and so is his wife (the one i probably dont trust) but wondered what the best way would be to seccure this borrowing.
Thanks

Hi there
When it comes to agreements between 2 people or more, no matter who they are, get a solictor to write up an agreement, this way it is a recognized document in the eyes of the law. It should not be expensive, and in the long run it is piece of mind.
Hope this helpsWALK ON, NEVER ALONE!0 -
If he's a good friend then I would advise don't do it!
He will soon be an ex-friend.
Tell him to see a mortgage adviser.0
