Anybody got one of these nifty little devices?
I'm thinking about buying one, cheapest place I've found so far is here

Yes I have one.

What do I think ? Well I have owned several PMP devices and also had the chance to try out quite a few more via work colleagues.

This is simply the best PMP on the market - I kid you not. I have 2 work colleagues who have since sold their Archos and bought this after trying mine out.

Have not seen one myself
looking at reviews does look like extra features not found on my Archos

Is it as small as the Archos AV400, some other players I have seen are much bigger?
( guess they use laptop Hard disks instead of 1.8in)

looking at name of maker / model at first thought it was an iRiver and their stuff is usually quality , but appears not same ( a bit close in names ?- on purpose?)

I'm sure that these things will get cheaper & better ,so I'm not going to say "XYZ model is better" but I would say - take a look at an Archos also - if you think the Pmp1000 its as good or better quality then seems a safe bet

Guy in Germany selling them on ebay. Search worldwide for "pmp 1000"

Last one went for £204ish
postage in 10euros. Takes paypal. Goodish feedback.
