Charity buttonholes

Hi MSE brides (and grooms!) to be!
I was hoping to use charity flowers for buttonholes, but was wondering if anyone had seen these recently? I know British Heart Foundation used to do silk red or white roses for £1 each (and obviously the money would go straight to the charity) and Marie Curie used to have daffodils but I haven't seen any of these recently - anyone got any ideas?
Wishing I'd just bought the white roses when I saw them!
Thanks in advance!

i think the charities only sell the flowers at specific times of the year...but it might be worthwhile going into the local BHF shop to see if they have any.
The daffodils sold by MC do only come out at the end of Feb and March I think to coincide with their main fundraising,I wanted some earlier in the year and had real problems tracking them down...
It might also be worth looking on the website as sometimes they stock the items there,or at least contacting through the website if there is a large number of flowers you need as they may be able to post them to you.
Great idea by the way,and both worthwhile causes!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
We got ours from British Heart Foundation but I've just had a look at their website and there's none there! May be worth sending an email to see if they do only do it at certain times of year (hope not!).0

Think I'd better email BHF and ask them then - thanks for your replies! Can you think of any other charities that do them?!0

Why not just give a donation to a charity that is personal to you and your families and have small scrolls made explaining this "gift" instead of favours to your guests. As a joke you could attach a celebration chocolate inside the scroll in case people missed the chocolate favours!

Thanks Poppy9, I actually meant buttonholes for the men in the wedding party, but this is a really nice idea for favours. If I'm spending the money anyway, would much rather it went to charity!0

That's a lovely idea. We're having charity pin badges as favours - could that be an alternative if you can't get the flowers?0
