in Cutting tax
This maybe a simple answer but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I am a self employed photographer who works from home. I understand that I can claim tax on things like rent/mobile phone bill/internet/electric bills etc. but how much do I deduct? is there a certain percentage?

Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
