We have major furniture retailers doing this every week and no one bats an eyelid yet as soon as a supermarket does it everyone, his wife and his dog are crying foul play, as some have all ready pointed out I don't care about what the price was, I care about the price that I am paying at the time I want to pay!0

That's the joy of shopping at Aldi and Lidl. Much lower prices, same, if not better, quality, and none of the Tesco fake pricing.
Aldi/Lidl prices are genuine - they don't manipulate them in the way that Tesco do theirs. And that even applies to the wines.
Exactly. The number of times Sainsbury's do 3 for 2s on smaller sized jars that still work out more expensive per ml/gr than 1 large jar is unbelievable.
An honest bargain is worth so much more.
Like Lidl on FB & get a £5 off voucher for over £30 spend this weekend. :TTruth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0 -

My thread was "kicked off" the groceries forum it seems and replaced by one of their own. :rotfl:
They need to keep up to date and on track with the news!!
Fingers crossed a few more "biggees" get fined heavily if they continue to "con" us with their "tricks".

I presume that if you (general) find a "glitch" in the system and bottles of wine (or whatever) are getting sold for 10p a bottle, you report it to the store? No? Thought not! Don't you just love a double standard!

The only thing, to me, shocking about this case is that at £1.99 the strawberries are a complete rip off. My local strawberry farm sells me a tray (8lb) of class 2 (by that i mean large, not inferior) strawberries for six quid!!0

Which is fine if you need 8lb of strawberries and want to spend £6!0 -
Yes, their cherries are the same!! A small pack for 2 quid, with about a dozen cherries in them!!! I get a bigger pack for 80p in the local grocers!!0
