Wisdom Tooth Ache

My wisdom teeth have been slowly coming through for a couple of years now and every so often the ache is really sore in my jaw. I've been taking Paracetamol or Ibuprofen, but I was wondering if there were any home remedies for the pain?

Thanks!

I've had toothache on and off for 4 months now as too scared to go to dentist with it. I have found clove oil an absolute godsend, clove oil is miracle stuff for it imo. It doesn't taste very good, put some on a cotton bud so you can get it to area needed. Try not to be messy with it and get it all over your face as it can sting and dry it out a bit. And wash your hand after so you don't accidently rub your eye or anything after with some on your finger.

Good luck, and sensible advice would be go to a dentist, but I can't talk on that front.

Edit if you go to boots pharmacy they will be able to tell you if you can't use clove oil for any reason, just thinking not all people may be able to use this for some reason. The lignocaine stuff they recommended I found usless and more expensive.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on the forum as it’s not what the site's about. Discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable but please don't discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please read the forum rule).
