Middle Name and Mortgage Application

Hello ! Can you help/advise me please ?
I have applied for a mortgage not using my middle name as it is not on my passport ( as advised by mortgage broker ), however my middle initial is on my bank statements and the mortgage provider have queried this, I have advised mortgage broker that I no longer use my middle name and it is not on passport or driving licence, it only shows as initial on accounts I have had open for years and elctoral role, so they have advised mortgage providor name on application is correct with no middle name, is this right ? will it cause me problems ?
Thankyou

hopefully someone who knows will be along to answer your question

our situation was same as yours and this is what we were told....

both my partner and I have been advised to give our full names on any official documents , the reason for this we were told is to avoid any misunderstanding with people having the same name , made me laugh , as my first name is very unusual and my partners last name isn't one that you see every day

The lender will want all your names, particularly as they appear on other bank statements.

When they do their searches, they want to get as much info as possible - sometimes a search without a middle name misses vital information.
