Desperately looking for someone who is reasonably-priced to do my hair and make up for my wedding at the start of October.
Have tried emailing and calling a few but no one has emailed back to my many messages or called me back. Starting to wonder where everyone has gone and it's leaving me a little panicky as I have about 7 weeks left to go and have had no trials or any ideas on what direction to go with make up etc.
For hair I'm after an updo with trailing curls and for make up I'm after something that complements my oriental skin.
Can anyone recommend any professional hair& make up?
I appreciate it

I had my make-up done by Juliet ( http://www.bridalmakeupbyjuliet.co.uk/ ). She wasn't cheap, but she was absolutely fantastic. I was in the same boat as you and frantically emailing places! She was the first to reply and say she's free, but the thing that swung me was her Facebook page. It had so many pictures, she was the only one I felt confident about before booking a trial.
She only did me (luckily had a Friday wedding, I don't think she does 'bride only' at weekends). I had someone cheaper do mum and bridesmaids (Beauty by Tricia), she was good too, but it was little things like on the day, we were getting made up in the conservatory, but as the light got brighter, Juliet moved me just inside the door so the light wasn't too bright and she didn't end up making it heavy. She said she'd provide a mini-lippy to touch up with, but I didn't need it because she gave me tips about buying the Clinique make-up cheaper. The only things I splashed out on were the dress and my make-up, and both were absolutely worth it.
This is the list of people I contacted from my spreadsheet (I know, but it's how I keep track of who I've contacted, how, and what their reply was!), hopefully there's some new ones there for you.
