If you google rent a porsche, or hire a porsche surrey, or prestige car hire etc lots of options come up.

Seems you can get a boxter for around £250/day...quite a few of the places seem to want you to have it for a couple of days minimum, though...

£250 with a minimum 2 day rental.. completely out of my budget. Another place £129 for one day (Tue-Thu only!!), but only 100 miles!!!

It's a shame , he would really have liked it!!

How much were you hoping to spend?

And how far did yo think he'd drive it for?

Out of interest, what's the excess mileage fee on the 129 one?

I think I would spend £250-£300 if I could rent it on a Sat/Sun (otherwise we both need to get one day off work, and it's not practical in the middle of the week...), and at least 300 miles? 100 miles is nothing... not even enough to drive down to the coast and back!!

I didn't ask how much more is every mile, the fact that they would only rent the car Tue-Wed-Thu put me off anyway...
