Under Eave Storage......................

Hi, After recently spending a fortune re doing the loft area into a lovely large bedroom, I have now come across the problem of suitable storage units!!!!
What we need is storage that will sit under the eaves and make the most of the space. The only place I have seen anything was in a Terence Conran book of my sisters, but was too afraid to ask the price!!!!!!
Any help or pointers much appreciated.

surely the best thing would be a bespoke cupboard thats specially designed to fit the space and allows you to have access all way to back at floor level - otherwise you'll be wasting loads of space behind a standard unit. In the past we have built our own cupboards into the eaves of an attic room, to do a really easy job you could just put sliding doors in runners. Or turn it as fancy as you like with coloured acrylic doors and lighting behind.

I would go for home-made!!

Have you had a look in Ikea as they do a lot of modular stuff that can be combined for awkward spaces.

Did look at having some bespoke units made, but could not believe the cost!!
After totally transforming the room, the furniture in there needs to be half decent, so don't fancy putting some sliding doors under the eaves!!!
Ikeas stuff does not really cater for under eave storage, so looks like I will have to save some money up and go with the bespoke!!!!!
