Mortgage with hire purchase agreement?

I'm about to apply for a mortgage with Halifax- I posted earlier about some missed payments 2+ years ago and the consensus was with a LTV of 78-79% I should be okay.
Should the fact that I have a HP for my car make a difference? When my broker applies for AIP he put in my monthly payments at £360 and it came back as offering much much more than we need in terms of affordability. My HP is for £20k and I have a previously paid off HP for £15k from the past.
My deposit is also gifted from my father. Mortgage repayments + car work out 1/3 of my wages.
I hope this doesn't make me seem less eligible!

should be fine, although what have you savednot gifted?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

The whole £40k is gifted. TBH the offer of this gift came out the blue- we were looking for rentals but when my dad offered we decided to take the plunge.0
