1) Have you ever put off buying something in the hope you might just win one first? :j
Yes - Right now I could really do with a new tv for the living room but I keep putting off buying one in the hope that I might win one!
(I will try to hold off until the January sales if I don't win one before then!)
2) Have you ever just bought something then been told you have won one? :j
Yes - I once bought a Tassimo coffee machine earlier this year and then one a week later I won one!
I ended up selling the one I won so really I got my money back! :T

I really wanted an iphone and was considering getting a contract for one, when I won one. I wasn't comping specifically to win one but was chuffed when I did.0

I won a copy of John Carter on Blu Ray around a week after buying it, so now I hold off buying new films until the competitions for them have ended.0

I've been putting of buying a kettle for the last 2 months! It leaks most days, not all the time and sometimes when its virtually empty, so its not as though I can just fill it to a certain level. Before anyone says anything its not dangerous, i've checked that with an electrian friend of mine. Just keep hoping that I'll win one of the lovely kettle/toasters competitions that have been going around. Will no doubt end up buying one before my sisters next visit and then will stop entering those competitions! LOLA huge THANKYOU to all who contribute to this Forum. :beer:0

Yes - a Macbook and iPad. I don't want to buy one! I also need a kettle! (Plus loads of stuff for my new flat but I am entering for all home-type things)

No, I don't really tend to buy much other than clothes. I usually rent DVD's so any I win are a bonus!

Great! One day I noticed the soles on my favourite ballerina shoes where beginning to wear so I planned to buy another pair at the weekend....then that same day I received a WEM informing me that I had won £50 of Rubbersole vouchers so I ordered some straight away!!!! i was in need of new straighteners before xmas and hubby was going to buy me some then i won 2 pairs in space of a week, my remingtons and GHD's, also won a pair last month lol so i now have 3 pairs of straighteners AUG WINS Octonauts goodies, wall scene worth £145, years supply of tea, quicksilver T.Shirt, bulldog skincare, cookbook, my little pony hair clips, collectors edt of Beano, Sony E-Reader, £75 experience voucher, 1D puzzles

When son wanted an Xbox desperately he had to earn it. He just managed to save up enough money to buy one, (bday money etc) and I went and won one for him! The money he saved went on games Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0
