If the union have not had a chance to review what has happened so far, you should ask for the consultation meeting to be postponed.
What have you done with regard to liaising with the union? Has the rep been briefed on what's happening? Has he discussed with OH what the next step should be?
They have had 2 weeks and have all relevant documents they asked for. I have not heard feom them since. We have NO IDEA what to do next. If he asks for his consultation to be postponed I think his boss will get funny woth him. He has already made their lives harder by reducing the work they give them and giving it to sub contractors. They have now taken away their van and they need to use public transport to collect van from street outside office. Just another way to make our lives harder. This man in charge thinks he is soo clever and he smirks whenever he thinks he's upsetting his staff. They have promised a better customer service to their tenants yet staff moral is lower than it has EVER been.0 -
Better the boss gets funny with them than not be represented in the consultation!
I suggest you speak to the union rep today to find out what is happening at that end.0 -
Just a quick update. New figures have been offered now there is union involvement! Now they are offering salary. Things are looking better.
Thanks for your help.0 -
