New build flat deposit %

Hi all,

I'm looking at purchasing a new build flat around £165k. At the moment I have approx 20% saved for the deposit as well as solicitor and stamp duty fees etc.

I have been looking around and have only found Halifax to offer 20% on a new build flat, can anyone recommend any other mortgage providers who are 20% or lower?

Thanks
Stew.

There are a couple of lenders who offer 85% on a newbuild flat, but most are under 80% as you've found.

You need to talk to a good whole market broker about this.

    I believe Santander do
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

... and if you do, you are incorrect.

Santander offers 85% on newbuild houses, 75% on newbuild flats.
