After my first small win recently today I have won another one, a cute mouse mat:j Thanks to Blue___Nile for yesterday's post! I have one question for those who won this before. When I go to their page to complete my contact details, they ask me to download my ID. Is it a usual thing to do and is it ok to do? That's what they say: IMPORTANT! VALIDATION:
To ensure your prize is sent to the correct address we must ask you to upload a copy of your driving license, passport, a bill with your address on or another official document to confirm your identity. Only after your identity has been validated, will your prize be sent:

Seems a bit extreme for a mouse mat. Think if that was me I'd file under 'oh well, it was only a mouse mat, let's see if I can win something else' and just ignore it.

I've just found their page on facebook, it looks alright, also this is what someone asks about ID and what they reply:

Suzanne Taylor-Just had a winning email from you, but this time you have asked me to confirm my id, as this is the 3rd time I've won do I need to send a copy of my id?

The ID check is a new procedure that we unfortunately have had to make due to quite a few trying to cheat with their prizes. As long as there is no problems with the ID this will not make the wait any longer than before
