iluvcats - sorry to hear about your kettle. Naughy cat knocking the stuff of the TV. We used to have a Siamese cat years ago when TV's were huge, he used to sit on the tv with his tail hanging down the screen and wouldn't budge, if we tried to move him he would flick his tail at us.

I had a FAKE Amazon email. Without opening it I could see it was from a Yahoo acct.


Kettle might be ok (bit like a flask I guess, as long as the cannister is ok - only bought it recently)

I remember reading the post about the fake amazon mail but can't find it at the mo either,
we had one & see ILC's did as well, best to just delete,

Just back from a little walk down to the town as the rain stopped at last.
Glad Fred is feeling a bit better Sylvia.

I'm not interested in Sky but would like new TV as I don't like the one I bought a few months ago. Kids would like Sky though.

These wins from the Holiday Inns are strange, as far as I know they were all for one night room only. That is what the Edinburgh hotel has booked for us but the Lancaster one has booked 2 nights with breakfast and the Washington one has sent us a voucher for bed and breakfast valid until 9th June. Was supposed to be used by end Feb in t&cs. Stoke is sending us a voucher so wonder what they will send. Really good though. :j

I often wonder about competitions where Sky TV is included along with a TV and other electrical stuff. Would it be ok to take the TV and not bother with the Sky part? I usually end up just not entering instead.

I order so much stuff from Amazon I know their emails really well

I must admit I'm not very impressed with Net a Porter's faulty goods return service.
I wouldn't spend my own money on there even if I could afford their stuff
