Had to go shopping after all as we had a power cut just after I posted this morning. We don't have gas out here so although we're well stocked up with food in case we're snowed in, we were short of the sort of food we needed if we're without power
Anyway, got back safely, and power's back on now :j
so I can use the cooker :j
It started snowing when we got home :eek:
It's stopped now but it's really cold here so glad we're not dependent on the calor gas heater and two ring burner for heat and food

Gosh walwin - you remind me of when DS2 lived in your area. He was so amazed when he moved to Peebles and had so much snow the first winter. He had hardly seen snow before! Just got worse when he moved to Coldstream. He hardly saw any when he was near Aberdeen and Tain though. Hope your power stays back on.

Hi guys I hope everyone is getting on well with the advents. I am so excited, I won such a great prize today (not massive monetary wise but I am so chuffed). Can't say anything else about it yet but I think I must have used up all of my competition luck for months to come!
