The Comper's Inn part 42

Hi Rae,
Sorry, I can't help either.
The problem with the emoticons (the smiley faces etc) must be browser or computer specific though, as I am able to use them at work (Mac and using FireFox), but recently at home, I have not been able to use them (Dell and using IE).
I'll have a proper look at the issue tonight and see if I can resolve it and let you know.

Grats on the wins.Hi, I'm Mich
I won a years supply of Comfort fabric softener in November 2013 - more than half remains...
2015 survey proceeds £115.360 -
Softpad: No I don't have a Google Play account, I don't know what one is
but I shall go and have a look in a mo!
Euronorris: Thank you! xx I'm starting to think that IE may be the problem. There was an IE update yesterday - both I and Jnr did it and last night he was grumbling about his computer being all *small cough* <insert impolite word> and this morning my computer does seem to be a bit slower than usual and this site (I feel like I live here now!) is acting all odd! Hm....maybe time for me to get brave and download Firefox?
Thanks again all xxx"The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,

Go for it! I have FireFox and Chrome downloaded at home as well, but tend to stick to using IE. But it's nice to have the options available as some comp sites just don't always seem to work properly in certain browsers.
With regards to the emoticons though, I do wonder if a setting was changed during a recent update which is causing the problem. If so, it's a matter of locating said change and ticking or unticking a box! lol

Morning all
Well lots been going on in the Inn, well done to the winners and sympathy to Walwin re the win/non win, that is horrible
Hope your DD has a good day sheils. My DD (a primary teacher) entered a wee *crew* into a street dance comp for Glasgow schools. She was very excited last night that her group got the only Golden Ticket through to the final next June
:T
Had my appointment with Physio yesterday, mostly an assessment, lots of questions and a bit of prodding . Outcome is a referral to an exercise class specifically for back problems but won't get appointment to January
Postie passed the door this morning  so hoping for a wee WEM to end the month.
Have a good and lucky day everyone.0 -
Euronorris: Thank you again! I'm going to step out of the comfort zone and download FF! Woohoo!
ILC: WTG!!!
Ellemm: Hope the prodding at the physio hasn't left you sore today and that your appt. in January leads to a pain free you xxx"The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,

Received a letter from PARCELFORCE dated 26th NOV
tracking is very odd 15th Nov until Now they have had the parcel with one supposed attempted delivery on 18th Nov.
Have re-arranged delivery (for tmw) online. (though says to call a 0844 no.)
Gord knows what it is? (unless the Bean-to-cup was despatched quickly)
Does the ONLINE re-delivery work ok?
