Just managed to sneak in before noon. Didn't sleep too well so had a lie in.

Sheils - I bet you were glad you were not away last night. Do you think that is what he does when you are away? I would have thought the DD's would tell on him anyway.

9k= Hope you Mom has a lovely day Shiels.

Thanks for the Sunday Times comp firefly but they don't deliver in our area so will give it a miss this time.

Glad you have got some help with the heavy work Alfie I think we need to be aware when things are too much and get help. Well done.

Wingo - had to laugh at your DH, they are just like big kids when they are in a toy shop aren't they?

Still way behind at the moment so must press on.

    Have a lovely day.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Yay!!! Decided, while thinking all things christmas, to get all me decks down from loft this morning - 8 boxes packed full of lovely stuff collected over the years - from kids christmas times from year dot and wee things they made, to bits and bobs collected over the years - lots of fond/happy memories in those boxes. :D Puddy sussing out all the boxes as I type!!! :D:eek:

Will sort through over the coming week.

    Happy days :D xxxxx

That's me trying to get some comps done now. Still ploughing away with the Currys one - got DH to do some entries today too.
Did two Orcado entries as it does say a voucher so I thought I could
give it to family member if I won but now wondering if any of them live in delivery area anyway so have given up. Good luck to the peeps who are entering.

We used the same tree and decorations for years Alfie but decided we needed a new tree a couple of years ago when we saw a nice one at the end of January for a £5! DD decided some decorations were too childish so they have been replaced too.:(

lol at DS making the most of house being empty - not :rotfl:

You're well organised ILC - I won't put our tree up until about 10 days before Christmas. Actually, DS puts the tree up and I do the pretty bits :D

It's been really grey here all day and the sun's just come out now so I'm going to try a get a quick walk in before it gets dark.

Saw this on FB and thought you might enjoy it

Had a lovely Woolies 5ft tree with cones BUT now have an optic £19 one. 3ft one too and a few sets of lights.

Who has the yearly game of finding a blown bulb. Trouble is Woolies have long gone so once spares gone would need to source bulbs?

Like the video of the foxes walwin. I have seen similar on TV somewhere before. I love trampolines too!

Can't believe the way some kids are brought up ILC. Where on earth does she get the money to smoke 20 cigarettes a day and go out drinking. Such a shame to ruin her childhood. I found looking after a baby scary enough at 22 and would never recommend having kids young although obviously not too old either.

Aaaaw - sheils - we have the most beautiful tree - sort of norway spruce thing looks beautiful when its decorated. I have many hanging ornaments that mean a lot to me n the kids - bought on our travels when dh was alive.

I really go to town, have bows, beaut ornament things bought over the years,(fond memories) plus beautiful stuff made by my kids (wee santas, stockings, merry xmas mum n dad) - all made with love many years ago. Can't bear to part with them. And yep, they take pride of place on the tree. New generation now for alfie - new babes ..... GK's, so looking forward to this christmas xxxxx
