Welcome back Penelope :wave: I remember you I'm another 'as and when' comper now I'm afraid, I try and get a few done on a night but I'm usually too tired or no motivation by then!

Sheils, I meant to say...the girl who I posted about on fb from our area (the 15 yr old cancer sufferer) who wanted her single to be well known on you tube...well I'm afraid she passed away at the weekend. Poor girl xx

Know what you mean about bananas ILC - they always seem to be ready at the same time no matter what you do!
Big bit about the hotel prices for the Commonwealth Games on TV just now.

Saw that about the girl dying wingo - so sad. Hope you get the Percy Jackson prize soon. I have been lucky getting prizes lately although I haven't won much last 2 weeks anyway - not complaining as I had a lucky few months before that. Still not given up on the Currys Comp. lol

you can ripen bananas overnight if needed ILC's
by putting them in a brown paper bag with a tomato or apple
presuming you've got an apple or tomato handy :rotfl::eek:

Thanks for tip. I have pears, tin of tomatoes but no brown bag!

Frosty here this morning but supposed to be a nice day later. Will wait until it heats up a bit to go for a walk.

Thanks for tip on bananas FF - will try that. Have found when we take them away with us to have the following day they always seem to be ready.

We use those Tesco vouchers to stock up on lots of things ILC and by going through separately can take full advantage.
