Many parts of the UK could receive a light dusting of snow next week.
Temperatures are predicted to fall close to freezing, with Tuesday night expected to be the coldest since last winter.
Rachel Vince, a senior forecaster at MeteoGroup, the weather division of the Press Association, said people will find that it will get "noticeably colder".
She said the cold snap and risk of snow will be caused by cold air coming down from the Arctic. The areas most likely to see snow are Scotland, the east coast of England, west Wales, south-west England and Northern Ireland.
Freezing temperatures of between zero and -3C are expected "quite widely" on Tuesday night.
Ms Vince added that forecasters are not expecting the snow to cause any problems, describing it as a "light dusting".
The cold snap is not predicted to last beyond the end of next week

    Good Morning,

Lovely and peaceful here this morning as everyone is still asleep.
Hope everyone is well. Good Luck to anyone who can enter the Times comp - looks like it is a fairly limited area.

Glad you are getting the hang of the Tesco vouchers wingo. We mainly use our points for meals out now and our annual English Heritage subs. Did use them for a hotel break once when we had too many. Hope your migraine is better now.

Been wondering about snow ILC We know the Express likes to panic us but keep thinking one year they will be right. Doesn't look like it is going to be too bad anyway and -3C isn't that cold. Don't like the cold though.

Hope everyone has a lovely day.
