Good Morning,

No its not snowing here but it is really frosty - first proper heavy frost. Don't like the cold.
Sounds like you have a busy day planned walwin.
We are hoping to have a nice walk when it heats up a bit. It is supposed to be a lovely day.
Hope everyone has a great day and good luck with The Times Comp if you are doing it. I haven't looked at it yet. Quite happy with my Tassimo but you never know how long things will last.

I'm crying my eyes out here.

The poor dog who was lost was badly injured in a road accident last night and the vets put him him to sleep because of his devastating injuries.



Bless you, Jamie. I'm so, so sorry your life ended like this xx :A

Its all frosted over here too Sheils! Although it was cold outside, I had my heating on this morning but I was too hot in bed!

ILC, it was a Dawes cycle I won but not the one with the basket! This one is a large bike, (probably out of fashion by the time hubby gets it put together!) Well hope he isn't as long putting DD's together...he has a couple of weeks to do it!

Walwin, enjoy your sporting day It was a race night last night too where we went and I managed to win on one race out of 8!

DD2 got sick bug today so no gymnastics and DD1 said she is too tired so I've left her in bed. I'm the only one up so I can comp in peace!

firefly - love the pic and the egg timer, haven't seen that one before. Thanks for the reminder although it looks a bit big for household use unless you have a big family. Will do a few anyway.

DD1, OH, 3 x GK's coming, they are bringing a joint for ME to cook them a Sunday meal but haven't arrived yet!! I must admit that I am feeling exhausted today so this will be a challenge

yep, coffee machine looks a big one but I was thinking if I did win it, it would be brilliant for the community room/kitchen
they've an old one in there & could do with a modern one :j
anyways, looks like they've c0c*ed up the t&c's on it this week as it's telling us all we've already entered :eek::rotfl:
I keep trying but still getting same message as everyone else :eek:
oh well, plenty more comps to be getting on with :eek:

First time posting in here but been entering competitions for about 2-3 weeks now but had no luck.

Should I be keeping a record of all the competitions I enter?? Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Hi geecarroll and welcome :wave: Some people keep tabs or a database on the comps they enter but I think the green tick is good enough for me as long as I've thanked the OP so I know where it came from Good luck with comps! Xx

Sylvia, well done for doing all your family a sunday lunch! I know it's not easy doing it for all the family, I was lost when mum stopped making them!

DD is feeling a bit better now thanks everyone, now she has cleared her stomache with what was making her chuck. She is asking for something to eat now so must be better!
