Morning all from St Andrews

Rather disappointed to find the Inn we are staying at is 5 miles outside the town and rather high up on a moor. When we arrived it was very windy and cold but as the place is quiet we got a free upgade to a lovley room with a jacuzzi bath.

Started to rain by the time we went for dinner but the meal was lovely though the wine was expensive at £8 a glass :eek:
Off to browse the town soon, at least it is dry now.

You got a great bargain with the Tassimo pods ILC. Too far for me to go to try it today. We only have about 2-4 a week as I grudge the cost. DH takes his black anyway most of the time so that does save. It is the caramel ones I like.

Hope you enjoy St Andrews elle. Was thinking £8 a glass was expensive but then remembered in some hotels and Champneys we paid about £24 - £26 a bottle which is the same if you had a large glass. Only £10 for the ones I like in Brewers Fayre and Beefeater though.

There seems to be a debate about where it should be on MSE. I kept forgetting about it as 400 samples a day given away. Got one now.

Good morning all, dry but windy here, better than the rain we have been having all week.

Going home tomorrow so should be able to catch up with the comps a bit more then.

Busy day today as we are baking meat pies to put in DD's freezer also have a big bag of apples to make pies/crumbles.

firefly - lovely pic today thank you, I expect you are busy with the mags.

Sheils - will give the cous cous a miss as really don't like it so will leave it for those who do.

Walwin - I bet you were glad you didn't put money on the that horse if it fell, poor thing.

Got mine today just after 10am. Tried a couple of times but had already had gone. (Magic Freebies link)

Weird how Morr. haven't plugged that glitch! (rare pod offer so bargain of century!)
Think will start a fresh and give my ole yr+ machine away.

Quiet in the inn & no wins?

Shopping came, froze 4/5 of mince beef pack. (brown in part but not stinky)

People report they got more off @ Morr. Somehow they got the proper offer and the Tassimo glitch, before finally corrected.
