Just a quick hello as got a headache so gonna lay down a bit before I get a migraine! It was DD's street dance performance tonight but DH has took her instead.

Did you get anything nice on the shopping trip Sylvia? I was hoping to have all my pressies in by December but it's not gonna happen! Not enough hours in the day or enough pay days in the month!

ILC, jasper is already crying at the fireworks, getting agitated. I just saw on tv that if a dog wags their tail to the left it means they are anxious and scared but if they wag to the right they are happy!
Hope your cat will be ok too with the fireworks. I hate the noisy things!

No wins today but a parcel man left neighbours parcel near her gate where it could have been nicked! I took it in and left a note in letterbox.

I'm not sure if I'll be entering many advents dontone as I'm struggling to keep up with main board!

We are all off the see Thor at the cinema, the 9 o'clock showing, hope I can manage to stay awake, I usually nod off and don't see much of it but they are insisting we both go with them.

Not sure if will go to any fireworks (weekend/week) as they are over so quick, waiting around, travel and crowds a pain.

Hi all,

Been busy with Tassimo machine - the red descaler light came on. We have about the softest water in the UK so not used to descaling anything and didn't have anything to do it with so put some lemon juice in the water (saw it on internet) and it seemed to have worked. Do you have to descale yours often ILC?
By the way I won't bother with the comp! Thank you anyway

Descale mine every few months. (Scaleaway or OZ liquid)

Normally empty the first few spits else it overfills my jug.

I've been busy entering as many comps as possible (of the ones that interest me anyway lol). Had Aliens on in the background. Not as scary as I remember, and now I've cracked open the wine

Just having a cuppa before heading off to bed. Don't seem to have done that many comps today but the washing is nearly up to date. Mainly DDs school stuff to do over the weekend. Had a lovely day today but rain forecast for tomorrow and nice again Sunday.

I tried to get most of the new monthly ones done yesterday sheils/euro :eek:
& keep up with the usual on the boards but it was a bit manic :eek:
think I got majority of them though :eek:
I made irish coffee last night for a change & really enjoyed it before bedtime,
first time I've done one for ages :j

raining here this morning & no sign of it moving away,
hope it's nicer for you all where you are
