Morning - hope everyone is staying safe and well. xx

Been awake on and off all night and got up in the end 4.30 due to gales/rain. Bit scary :eek: Winds hit us at 75-80+mph early hours. (Not as bad as some). West of country hit hard + 100mph winds reported in some places around and about.:eek: Seems to be fair bit of devastation in just a few hours - reports coming in - my heart goes out to all involved.

Electric kept flicking on and off so had me torch to hand - still flicking now so wondering if it is going to go :eek: 40,000 without electric:(

Ventured out and everything seems ok back n front in mine - keep getting lull then winds start up again - though apparently by midday conditions should be somewhat calmer though blustery winds/rain ongoing for a while. Dark skies one side but sun peeping out on and off

Not venturing out in jalopy today - staying in with puddy who, by the way, was scared of the gales whistling round the house and is now under me duvet, catching up on zzzzzz's!

Sun out still and now plenty blue skies - so got off lightly - thank the lord.

So pleased I tucked all me stuff away in garden etc - (I never take mother nature for granted) else it would have been all over the shop!!! Just been out re neighbours - helping out righting this n that.

Puddy ok now and sending up zzzzz's in the sun - on her fav seat by patio doors.

Edit: getting tad gusty again - sun struggling - guess it will be like this for next few hours? No rain tho at the mo xx

Morning, we lost our back gate last night in the wind. Took it off it's hinges and it's a big one..lol. Thankfully that was all the damage we had. I have propped it up in the hole for the moment until I decide what to do about it.I have been to work this morning and things don't look too bad outside.Well done on the win ff. I won with them again a golf club. Not doing too bad with the clickys 3 wins since they started. I am after the shopping vouchers but no luck there.
