The OH will be on slave duty! lol I've stored up some episodes of my favourite tv programmes to watch to tide me over for the first 2-3 days, after that I should be able to do more and I'll be back at work after a week. Thankfully a short recovery time

Yes! They used to bash them with a bible!! :eek: Thankfully this is no longer recommended, due to the obvious injuries it could cause!

Walwin, my friend has recently had a ganglion drained. I think they say if a bible bashing doesn't work to have it drained.

Well I'm happy to say roxy turned up! DD was crying after school so we all searched round again and found her in the gas cupboard under stairs! I looked in there I don't know how many times, checking all the boots and shoes! She's gone to gymnastics happily now. (DD that is, not the hamster! )

ILC, the jelly belly comp flashed up with a box saying 'congratulations you won a prize' and the box had...name, email address and I think it was phone number.

Did the box come-up in the same place (below the machine) where the words come up? (coffee,cake,drinks etc.)
Have you received an email from them?
Did you have to type anything in after winning?????

The Jelly-bean slots are corrupt. They were spinning constantly and reels landing in an irregular order earlier.


Loaf on the go, pressed fast bake by accident, turning off/on still the same so left it. Always flustered with it as the buttons are not obvious:eek:

They don't do the bible bashing at all anymore (well, some people might try it themselves at home I guess). They try immobilization first (so putting it in a support/bandage). If that doesn't work, they will drain it, but they return in (I think) 80% of cases. I tried it three times with the right side, and twice with the left. F*****g painful! And it just came back each time. So, last option is surgical removal. Even that's not guaranteed but I had great success on right hand side, so hoping for the same on left hand side.
