The Comper's Inn part 42

Going to have a busy day today getting everything ready to go away and getting ironing finished. Haven't been to self catering accommodation for well over a year so bound to forget something although it looks like they supply more than most places.
sheils x
Do they supply a house-keeper? (Otherwise would be like @ home:eek: but at least no munchkins to clean up after)
In Turkey (Marmaris) I was 'room only' and just did simply things like salads and also ate out.0 -
No house keeper ILC unless you pay and we actually like not having one as they tend to arrive at all the wrong times. We will be out and about all the time I expect as we roughly know the area and have full plans for the 3 days we are there! We will be having our main meal out but eating breakfast in and maybe taking a picnic out with us some days. We enjoy self catering.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Morning all
Good luck with the packing sheils and enjoy your break.
Just caught up with all the comp postings I missed being out yesterday
Had a very interesting time at the auction - was a general sale so very varied lots, pictures, dinner sets, lots of crystal and other bits & pieces, few bits of Moorcroft pottery but nothing very expensive sold. Anita Manning did some of the lots and was very amusing.
My cousin went home to look out stuff to auction so even if she gets a few pounds for it she will be happy.
Off to Troon this afternoon for GD's 3rd birthday.
Have a good day everyone0 -
AB: You are keeping Schtum about your 'We have news about your ticket news!'
There were so many raffle colours:eek: I had gold but it never glistened for me   (did you have ALFIE blue?)
Bright sunshine though 'Meow' is still zzzzzz  Didn't let him out last night (+ he made a fuss to go out)0 -

Morning
Most beautiful morning here - bright sunshine, clear skies - if it stays the same i may trot out into the garden later and do some mowing of lawns, if they have dried out enough :j
Must have been a kiddies birthday party around here yesterday - thought I could hear lots of laughterThe balloons are all over the place! I can see 1 high up in one of me trees in the back, another in a shrub (amazed they didn't pop!) and 3 out the front
Sheils: 2 bottles of plonk and undies is good

Puddy is happily sending up zzzzz because she was on the case of very noisily chasing 2 daddy longs legs in the house at 5am this morn!
Launching herself up the walls to try and catch them:eek: She caught and ate one:eek: and I managed to sort of save the other poor blighter, caught it in glass but noticed it was minus a leg after the cat chase
........... anyhow - put it out in the garden away from my feline pal!!! I was exhausted

Put on a Winsday (Wed) TB + Sat 12th Lotto with £3 returns.
(rather than risking it on a SC)
Just collected my new George Foreman and mules from newsagent.
(Good idea to save waiting in)
Need to find a doorbell push but no hardware shops locally. Home-ware shops are in abundance though. (Another goose chase )
Sheils: Do you have to pay a bridge toll?

Think this one lost a bit in translation ILC
"Do you attract a lot of attention? How did the independent appraisers say it was worth? A piece of the foundation could do wonders for the room sale!"

No bridge toll ILC we head through the middle of Wales as going the motorway adds about 70 miles and a bridge fee to the journey. Have only gone over the bridge once and that was to go to Somerset and you don't pay to leave!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
