    Hi all

    Hope everyone's well.

Advance warning of a Times comp tomorrow, but it's for football tickets so don't think anyone in the Inn will be interested.

E:28/09 9pm Win tickets England v Montenegro or Poland every half hour in The Times

Have you just been notified ILC or is it on the news?

I paid my rental in advance and don't use 1571 as I have an answer machine but have started to use caller display.:(

MSE have a news article but missing the call features rises!

BT rise thread, somebody posted a Telegraph newspaper link re: 1571, BUT I found the Bt Privacy Caller Display rise on MSN.

I have an (dect) answer phone too but never used it as 1571 was easier. Will have to find the instructions !

Sounds lovely, is that what's on offer if we come to stay?

Am doing a BLT sandwich. Have FREE hand dry cured posh bacon.
(Though resisted a T\A whilst passing fast food places).

Drat and double drat: I mistakenly put a soy bootle on its side and it has trickled around the bottom of the refrigerator:eek::eek::eek:

iluvcats - love BLT its my favorite sarnie. Roast beef could be on offer but I would have to do something else for our alfie or I would be in trouble. Hate it when stuff spills in the fridge, especially if the milk bottle drips.

    Good Luck ILC and Alfie!

We have just had salmon encroute from Aldi. DS3 didn't complain so will take that as a plus. Going to have a Tassimo coffee and maybe a Galliano now! (Bought a bottle while spending gift card in Sainsburys :D)

Salmon sounds lovely Sheils, must have been OK if DS3 didn't complain. Whats Galliano?

Hi Katie - carvery sounds lovely, glad you had a good day. Are you off out tonight singing/

  • Went to Morrisons today. It always amazes me why peeps just pick up supplies without checking the end by date, especially bread. I always check them on fresh products.

Another gripe while I am having a moan. Why is it peeps don't wash their hands when visiting public toilets  its amazing how many just walk straight out.

    Complaining over sorry.

Galliano is an Italian Liquor Sylvia. You can drink it on its own or you can have it in cocktails like Harvey Wallbangers (used to love them when I was young)
I always check the bread dates etc too.

Thanks Sue but not interested in football as you already guessed.

Sheils: salmon sounds lovely. (Love it in a tagliatelle or pastry thingy)

Sylvia: I laughed (other day) milk carton labelled 'store upright' BUT it caught me today!
Had the FREE (extra) milk (today) which meant the 'soy' couldn't fit in the fridge door:eek: (yes the milk was upright)

When we buy a second one we have to store it lying down but we always check to top, I always check it before we leave the shop as well. Can't have Soy milk as on thyroid tablets. Is it more healthy or something?

It is quite sweet and vanilla/almond like. Some peeps say it tastes like licquorice but I don't really think so as I don't like licquorice .
DH likes Amaretto with his coffee so thought I would treat myself with the giftcard. I usually would have Baileys but it was expensive and I am never sure how long it will keep. ;)

Some great comps on the Autumn TAB FF. Thanks for posting wouldn't mind one of the breaks.

I like salmon with tagliatelle too ILC but prefer smoked salmon with it.
