Aargh....postie didn't bring it! I guess it must be coming from a delivery van so will have to wait in for it now. Only a phone bill for me today!

Sylvia, sorry I must have missed your post as I was looking out for postie! :p Well done on your ecover win too :j
Lol @ all the little guinea pigs! That happened to my sister when she was given a hamster, she only wanted one too!

Alfie, some people at work were on about Uni bond too saying how good it was and was recommended by builders too :) Will try that with loose tiles in bathroom. I wonder if it will also stick husbands to kitchen walls?

Well done all on receiving stuff :T:T:T:T :j:j

Lol wingo - You may get away with sticking yon husband to kitchen wall: Instructions: 'for larger items apply beads at 300mm intervals and press into place with a twisting action'!!!!:eek: Good luck :D:D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: xxxxxxx :D

Alfie - my SIL has a shelf with books on put up with no nails! I always keep some in the house.

Off to sort garden and sheds now.

I'd be too scared on something really heavy!

I used some no nails stuff (pound shop) on some batons for my trellis and they have been secured for over 6 years!

My eleccy toothbrush head screw is still secure with loctite, haven't started using my new brush yet!

A few peeps about today! Things haven't turned out today as it has been drizzly all morning. Did manage a walk to see my parents and pick up some milk at Tesco without getting too wet.

That was nice of your mum buying you flowers etc wingo.

Like to have something to celebrate before I put some wine in fridge Sylvia but no wins this week and my Champagne hasn't come yet either. Well done on your wins.

Jings!!! Lovely neighbour brought me some beaut eating apples and we were happily chatting away when ........ loud bang aimed at one of me upstairs windows!!!!!!! We both jumped - thought someone was taking pot shots with rifle, it was that loud!!!!!

After we had recovered, it appears on further inspection (neighbours husband dragged out to investigate:A) that it seems a large bird had serious collision with window ..... food splattered all over window, feathers down on ground all over :( We have thoroughly searched - but no sign of bird ...... hope the critter is ok :o:o. Have triple searched but no sign.

Had to check on puddy - would have given her a right fright but luckily she was snoozing in another room and is none the wiser.

My god - I am so looking forward to me glass of wine tonight:eek::D

Aw what a shame Alfie. Hope the bird is OK, must have been a big one for you to have heard it. Think you deserve a glass or two of wine tonight.

  • Had a busy day in the garden, both lawns cut, cut a lot of stuff down. Just the side beds to finish off tomorrow if weather is OK. Also cleaned out both outhouses and all the patio stuff away for the winter except our small table and 2 chairs. The weather has been beautiful.

GD here so not able to watch Casualty tonight but will catch up with it tomorrow as she if watching Lassie on DVD.

Good luck with the lottery Alfie/iluvcats and anyone else who has put any money on.
