Agree ff - we have always been a music loving family and kids have grown up loving music from different eras - always different types of music was being played in the house/car etc. Traditional, old, rock, modern, latest hits (some weird stuff ... their choice not mine, hey ho younger generation!!!!) etc etc etc - everything really!. :D

From early age they loved trips to the theatre to watch musicals/dancing etc, and I guess we are rather a musical/arty family :D:D

I love to keep up with the music also nowadays and have a few favourites of late. :):)

DH is a Who, Rolling Stones and David Bowie fan so I have come to like some of their stuff too. Boys all like Oasis and Kaiser Chiefs and DD just seems to like the latest boybands etc although she had an annoying spell of playing Adele's "Someone Like You" all the time. Hate that song now. Can't listen to Bob Marley's "Don't Worry Be Happy" either as it was played at my cousins son's funeral.

 Thank you :T:T I sometimes have a sneeky look in the arms :o but takes me ages to find me way back to the inn!!!! Not awfully good on navigating etc !! :(

Good news on the 'brightening of the grout' :D Fab for keeping costs down!!

Gave one wall of mega old tiles good clean with hot water and scourer and bit of elbow grease. Dried them. Then applied white emulsion to grouting, then gently wiped the excess paint away off tiles. Paint stays on grouting and it is looking sparkling and makes such a difference - tiles look like new!!! Gonna give it one more coat tomorrow then will start on the rest.!!!

Mega pleased with result :T:T:T :j:j:j xxx

£2 SC was a scalper (again)

Shopping in two halves, nipped to Iceland for frozen: Salmon, veg, chips and few other bits.
Fresh probably tmw. (Tesco or Morr?)

Hi everyone, can't believe its beginning to get dark already. Its been a lovely day here though. Took big Sis back today, she had a lovely spend in BHS and M&S with the £250 vouchers she won a while ago. She was full of cold when we took her back so hope she hasn't passed it on.

Well done firefly I see you have had another win, you are having a good September.

I had some Which Skincare arrive yesterday which I wasn't expecting from Look. Its going in the box for Xmas.

You sound like you are having a busy time in your kitchen Alfie and have got your tiles nice and sparkly. Amazing what a bit of paint can do!

Hope everyone else is OK and having a good September, sorry I have been having trouble keeping up with every lately.

    Have a lovely evening.

BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS
