Hey guys, I am moving to Norwich with my girlfriend in a couple of weeks. It's the first time we will be living together and we are both just out of university so are a bit broke! Basically we are looking to get a decent size 2/3 seater couch for our new place. Fabric preferably as the girlfriend aint too keen on leather. Thing is, we only have about £200 (including delivery) to spend on it and from looking online it isn't giving us much choice :S We have tried freecycle and ebay and aren't really getting too far! If anyone could offer us any advice/share any links where we might get ourselves a semi decent comfy couch for about £200 we would be VERY appreciative!
Thanks guys!

Go and see the people who sell furniture locally, on the industrial estate I have a pitch in there's a sofa place, and they take back people's old stuff when they deliver new, it's amazing what just ends up in the skip.

Try your local freecycle. You'll be amazed at some of the stuff people are looking to get rid off.
EDIT - sorry Jimmmeh, I see you've tried your local freecycle. Maybe try some others nearby?
Also, keep checking EADT, & see if your local charity shops have a furniture outlet. British Heart Foundation have one in Ipswich, most of it is 2nd hand, but some is production 2nds.From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings

Well worth a try, last week got a cream 3 seater Habitat sofa with removable covers in very good nick. Have noticed several others come up this week also.Blitzkreig Bob says Hi to those checking his validity!0
