Hi, has anyone else had a similar experience or offer some advice on what to do?
I had a phonecall in the first week of June from a lady at the Times stating I won an Ipad and subscription and that the promoter would be in touch in 28days I still hadn't received it so I sent an email to a contact for the Times I found on the website. After no reply for 2 weeks, I rang The Times mid July and got put through to the competition department who said they had seen an email regarding myself stating that the Ipad was in stock. Still no prize has arrived so sent another email last week with no reply again.

I would be tempted to try again on Monday/Tuesday to give it a last try before maybe taking it further.
Just a quick question though - Have they put anything in writing to confirm that you've won?
I won from a Times hourly a couple of weeks ago and got an email confirmation the next day
Asking as if you've something in writing it is easier to pursue

Thank you for your help. No I didn't get anything confirming it in writing which I thought was strange but when I spoke to the competition department they were aware of my name in regards to being the competition winner and confirmed they had an email from the a stockist confirming my prize was in stock. I will try and give The Times another phonecall next week and ask to be put through to the correct department and request some written confirmation or email. Did they send the prize signed delivery?0

I'm going to log off in the next 20 minutes or so - if I'm not around and you do decide to go further to chase your prize, the best people are the IPM.
I've had to chase up one prize through them this year, I passed it to the IPM after 3 months and 3 emails with no reply (I do generally try companies a few times as I know there can be problems with stock/distribution etc). (the prize I chased wasn't from the Times btw - was a big high street company though)

Email: complaints@theipm.org.uk - Edwin Mutton is fantastic, but so are the other staff there :-)0 -
Just asked my son and he was woken from his teen slumbers by the delivery of my Sunday Times prize Kitchenaid Artisan blender! They used courier, not Royal Mail, but we can't remember which company...

Just to add as Melli said the ipm are fantastic to deal with and very friendly, Edwin mutton there passed my complaint onto the ASA last week, as i have been waiting now over a month getting ignored, they have been amazing today they emailed a company chasing up my American fridge freezer, with in the hour the company concerned contacted me and are running around to get it sorted
.
So in future i wont hesitate in contacting them.
Good luck with it
