Going for self promotion
I'm all for stopping self-promotion, but it seems we are verging on a McCarthy type witch-hunt. Maybe there is a better way of resolving this than accusing people on their threads - after all, we surely dont want to discourage genuine posters as well? To me, Isme is a genuine company, the comp had been posted already - doesn't seem suspicious. The fact that one person only put comp links from one site seems quite normal - thats the site they get their mails from or whatever. I think it is verging on being rude, and will no doubt end up with genuine posters deciding not to post again. Sorry to post this here, rather than the general chat, but I felt its about time someone tried to put a stop to the paranoia that is flying around atm - and it seems customary to discuss the morales of the individual posters on their own posts. I dont know if this is, or isn't self-promotion - but I think we should all be cautious of throwing accusations around - with no real proof.0 -

I've come to the conclusion that what ever you do on this forum some people will not like it
So all we can do is go by our own gut feeling, Moneybot's gut feeling & research was that this could be self promotion. That's why Moneybot posted it on the thread then other people can reply if they don't feel it is Self Promotion or if they do also feel it is self promotion.
So you could of said, no I don't feel this is self promotion because... I feel that would of been more polite
