Hope the forum members don't mind, but i thought i would post a few links to really useful threads on the forum and websites
Just have to say welcome to new and old peeps and a simple message YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Its hard paying up debt when your struggling and tryng so hard to deal with it. I know i'm in the midst of it.
Its hard changing your lifestyle and whether your looking for ways to cut your budget, pay off debt or just want some ideas for recipes the two links i have posted are fab.
"Unhappy £20 to feed a family of 4 for a month?"
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...2116179&page=1
The above thread is a amazing, its the story of a family of four struggling due to dire financial stress.
Its really long but worth reading. It goes through the basics from boiling a chicken carcass to bread making.
The thread also has loads and i made loads of recipes and a lot of my knowledge came from this thread alone.
I also think mbaz thread should be made into a sticky as its amazing.
Another is this one:
https://www.cheapfamilyrecipes.org is another loads of recipes again.
It was created a by a member of mse called weezl and a plan of how to feed a family for £100 a month.
Weezl also has lots of other thread on here
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1157641
thirftladys wartime experiment
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/481412/thriftladys-wartime-experiment/p1
Another really good thread
Also the grocery challenge has tons of recipes.
Last thing good luck and you can get through anything, if your stuck just ask away!!!
Good luck!!!!!!!

Hi kezlou,
It may just be me, but three of your four links don't appear to be working?
For anyone who wants to read a comprehensive index of Old Style threads please take a look at Squeaky's Old Style Indexed Collections

I'm really interested in the first thread but the link doesn't workOctober Grocery Challenge: £20.65/£150
September Grocery Challenge: I lost track/£200
August Grocery Challenge: £92.11/£1000 -
Hi i have tried to do it again.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2116179
its a really old thread relating back to 2008.
One of the main reasons i put this up was because although squeakys thread is very comprehensive. I thinks mbaz's story is really good and i thought her experiences may help other people who are going through the same thing.
I've bumped the thread up so hopefully it will show up.
