Best Place to buy a Compulsory Purchase Annuity?

I am about to take a lump sum from my pension and the company it is currently with have told me that I need to transfer the remaining balance to another insurer to purchase a Compulsory Purchase Annuity only.
Where do I start to look for another insurer for this?
Am I not able to leave it with the insurer it is currently with for one of these?
Can you recommend a good company to approach to purchase one?
Is it a quick process to make the transfer (if one is necessary)?
