How Does a "Years Supply Of..." tend to work?

Just intrigued... When a competition offers a years supply of a product. How do they give you that prize? Do they estimate how much you would want and give it all to you in a lump delivery or do you get a voucher code or something?
Anyone ever win anything like that?

Usually it's for a certain amount of the item, eg one tub of ice cream, washing up liquid etc per month:starmod: Looking for the lucky dust :starmod:

I think it depends. Things which aren't perishable, like beauty goodies are usually sent in one go. (I won beauty oils and they sent 5 in a box)
Sometimes it will say on the competition how it will be sent, like once a month/twice a year.
Sometimes they also send vouchers.
It will always say in the T+C so have a read through them if you want to know

It might depend on the product. For example if it was beans they're not going to send you one tin every week, they'll just give you a couple of boxes. Whereas if it were petrol they're not going to give you that all in one go.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I won a years supply of Beringer (wine) 144 bottles
:D:D a couple of years ago from Wetherspoons.
In the WEM they gave me the fantastic offer to replace some of the Beringer with other wines so we took 72 bottles of Beringer and 72 bottles of red wine. They also offered to deliver over a period of time as they appreciated storage may be a problem. However we took all 144 bottles at once and stored them all over the house.
Brilliant prize as we estimated the wine was worth well in excess of £1,000 and being wine lovers, right up my street. Great service from Wetherspoons as well in dealing with the prize. The best things in life are free.....0 -

I'm so glad i asked the question. Some great stories here like the fruit juice and the wine. I bet you get sick of drinking them after a while. I still wouldnt turn down prizes like that though0 -
I had a years worth of hair products (shampoo, conditioner etc) all arrive at once, it was like Christmas unpacking it all

My flat is so small I wouldn't be able to get in the door with all that lot!
Would love to win a year of something though..
Saw a comp on here earlier for a year of washing up liquid but only for 7 bottles which didn't seem much.0 -
It really varies from competition to competition I think. I once won 6 month's supply of wine which was 36 bottles (happy days :rotfl:) and I recently won a year's supply of eye drops which was 18 bottles. Both times the prizes were delivered in a single shipment.2022 wins include.... £1,000 cheque £150 ASDA gift card £250 Impericon gift voucher £100 cheque £100 of plant bulbs £100 Bower Collective voucher0
