Hi guys, I've been asked to bring bottle of coffee liqueur to a cocktail part I'm going to on Friday night and I do NOT want to pay £18 for a bottle of Tia Maria!!!!!
Does anyone know if any of the supermarkets do their own make?

Lidl and Aldi usually sell their own ones that are much cheaper and will be fine in cocktails.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

As above, check Lidl or Aldi.
Sainsbury's have Kahlua Coffee Liqueur (70oml) for £13 - £17 or more elsewhere.

Does baileys count? Tesco finest 1ltr cream liquer £10 they might have a tia maria equivelant. It tastes really nice. Lidl/Aldi may also have a similar tia maria equivelant. Personally I dont like it but I do like baileys!0

I've checked Aldi and they don't have anything. I'll pop to Lidl and see if they do something.
An irish cream won't do apparently, it has to be coffee liqueur - £13 for Kahlua is a good price if I can't find an own brand cheaper, thanks

Asda have Tia Maria (700ml) for £13 also.
Sainsbury's have Tia Maria 1 litre for £16
Enjoy though and drink sensibly.

Saw the economy coffee liqueur in T.extra today. It's name is 'Soirree Coffee Liqueur' and is an unbelievable £6.49. I also saw somewhere online that Tia Maria is 20% proof and Soirree an acceptable 17.5%. Sounds like just what you're looking for. Go for it girl !!0
