Moving home effect on credit report

After some fabulous advice from the mortgage brokers on here I am all set to purchase when the property I am looking for comes onto the market. As we all know that could be tomorrow or in 10 years!

I have the opportunity to let out my current flat in which I have lived for over 10 years & move into another apartment rent free until this happens.

How much (if any) of a negative impact does this have on my otherwise 'excellent' credit report?

Council tax, electoral roll, drivng licence, bills, tenancy agreement etc will all be updated to new abode.

Thanks in advance you clever lot!

Bumping this one as I have a similar query...I have recently sold my flat where I was on the electoral register for several years ( albeit with a short break), got various types of credit over the years etc. I have within the last month moved into work provided accommodation to which I am changing all my financial details and trying to get on the electoral roll (issues wrt address) but I will not appear in the new roll until Oct. Will this have a significant impact on my credit file and chances of getting a mortgage in hopefully the next few months?

. I'm guessing from the problems I'm having getting my credit files it may do or it's too soon after moving for my new address to be showing up.
