  • Hmmm well the stuff marked 50% off scanned at the right price, I wonder if I'd randomly scanned stuff if there would have been hidden bargains. The self service tills are down stairs to the toys so it wouldn't have been easily to nosey a bunch of stuff and then make a stealth exit!
  • Well a disappointing sale at our local this year, didn't buy a thing!! that's mse for you:money::money:
There were some empty gaps where items had been reduced by 75% off top of my head Happyland Fire Staion, Happyland family selection, ELC pink till.
Had lot of things scanned as they said they hadn't put all price labels up yet and they all scanned 50% so gave up in end

Def not as good as previous years :(

One store I went in they had done the labels and another one they had not(but I scanned a few things and they were reduced!!)

I got a Babie that changes into a mermaid
    Ken
    Leap frog Count & Chat
    Fireman Sam Hoses & ladders
2x Peppa Pigs Tea Party Picnic set

all for £13 and 130 advantage points!!!!

I also did see but did not get

Peppa Pig Teach the Time clock
    ELC highchair car thingy
    ELC activity cube
    Tomy puppy keyboard thing
Tatty bear car and other Tatty toys
    Playmobil
    some activity kits

Last year I spent about £60 so I did not feel there was as many bargains and some things only had 1 thing out on shelve so I suspect they sold a lot of it at the half price which they have not done in previous years. Hope this helps someone,
I got most of these scanned at my local and were all still either full price or 30/50% off:(
  • Lots of stock in Leicester City centre store. I got half price and 3 4 2 so very impressed.

I got a vtech guitar (3yrs plus), a bright stars ball and lion toy set (12 months plus) and a ELC Mp3 player (from birth). All £20 each and i paid £30 for all three.

Plenty of stock left, right at the back of the store. Something for most ages and all price range. Lots of peppa pig stuff, ben and holly board games, watches and plently of baby stuff.
  • Leicester City centre have had 1/2 price and 3 for 2 for about 2 weeks. loads of stock a week ago though, and the assistants were really helpful!

Hi, popped into my local Boots again today, very little on the shelf but I did spot a couple of Ben 10 omniverse toys which were originally £15 marked as clearance and reduced to £3.75, and a Hello Kitty bead/jewellery set (quite a big box) which was originally £20, I bought one for £10 last week, they're now down to £5!! Also marked as clearance but these were not in a separate section. Went through at 3 for 2 as well so £8.75 for 3 toys which at full price would have been £50!
Got chatting to the nice lady at the till who said to keep checking back as they're clearing stock ready for the Christmas stock which is due to arrive in 2 weeks. She said as ours is a smaller store they need to make room so are reducing bits here and there, but the big stores won't have to do that as they have more space for the Christmas items.

Wrexham store today had a good selection of toys 75% off and 3 for 2. I got 6 toys, leapfrog laptop, scribble and write both reduced fro £20 to £5. and some vtech toys. should of been around £90 but ended up costing me £15 with 1.50 points back

They also had the toot toot cars, bright starts hanging toys, ELC hanging toys and teddies and some peppa pig toys 75% off.
  • I got quite a few bits at my local today. I found some by accident, picked up 3 Thomas floor puzzles marked at half price (£4.50) so was surprised when they went through at £4.50 for the 3. So I went back and got some play doh sets that were down to £4.50 each. Also had loads of nerf guns for £5 each, Lego sets, octonauts sets, playmobile sets, barbie ken doll and a few other bits. Going to go back tomorrow to see if there are any Lego sets left as didn't get any of those! They were in amongst the non-sale stuff and still marked at half price so not easy to spot unless u were looking.
Pleased with my little shopping spree :)
