I have to say that seems the best route to bring all of this mess to an end.
I really do not understand how bank have allowed the mortgage to be in arrears for the best part of two years and still taken no action.
I can only assume that it is because ex wife is employee of the bank that holds mortgage....
Also, is it not just good manners and polite to respond to an email asking if they are representing a client. A simple yes or no would have sufficed, just find it very rude of them tbh.0
