Was just checking through for any winners announced posts on Facebook for the thread in IWIWIW when I saw the following post from Music Magpie:
The winners of the Star Trek competition have been announced. The winners were chosen in line with the T&C’s, which we must adhere to. In future we will be randomly picking our winners and not running ‘like’ based competitions - Thank you to all that entered.
Assume they've had some issues...

Yep I think they have deleted most of the posts about it but this one was still there

"I REALLY Hope that you will be SERIOUSLY vetting the results of this competition BEFORE announcing a winner. One of your entries went from 190 or so early evening to over 500, within hours. Looking at less than 10 of these "likes" the people all have less than 20 friends (not the person in the comp, which i guess can happen with friend of friends etc). BUT to accrue so many votes in such a short space of time has got to be suspicious!! All the other contestants in the running have spent ages asking friends to vote and for a CHEAT to win coz they re willing to pay for likes is NOT FAIR! FTR - I am not in this comp, so not sour grapes here, just advising you to investigate, with such great prizes being offered"Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.

True although they appear to be deleting comments on the announcement post which is a bit naughty. It looks like despite it being pointed out the vote buyers still wonRational judgement, now, at this very moment.
